AN960 flat washers are used under hex nuts to provide a smooth bearing surface, as shims to obtain the correct grip length for a bolt and nut assembly, and to adjust the position of AN310 and AN320 castle nuts with respect to drilled cotter pin holes in bolts and clevis pins. Available in regular and light thickness.
Light Series Washers: The letter "L" to dash number indicates light series. AN960PD-10L is a light series anodized aluminum washer for a 3/16" dia. bolt. Light series washers must be manually input on order form. D Series Washers: The letter "D" to dash number indicates the aluminum alloy series. Less 20% for quantity 100/Part No. |

These are thin and small washers. If you need a thicker heavier washer use the Baffle seal back-up washers.
Slightly gold anodized finish, but different than steel. Is it just my eyes or do aluminum washers seem thicker than steel? The measurements are the same, however
Regular washer, very flat surfaces. Excellent substitute for AN960 where weight saving is a factor.

The tech data sheet allows 2024T3 or 2024T4 is allowed to be used for AN960PD aluminum washers.
