Whelen said my completely dead strobes were due to a shorted tube. They walked me threw diagnosis. Sure enough, this strobe tube solved the problem and restored operation! This is one of the least expensive airplane fixes Ive had. A/S had it in stock and I was good to go in a couple days.

Easy modular design. Realized I needed a simple tool to compress the wire connection leads so I could feed it thru the wing tip assembly. Once I borrowed that tool, installation was easy. Nice and bright, again.

Q: is this the mating connector for whelen a441?

The light assemblies have the A441 connector. The mating connector is an A442 socket.

Q: Would it be possible to make the picture enlargements big enough to read? The pop up isn't any bigger than the main screen picture. Thanks

We have switched out the drawings for more clear and larger versions. We will be re-doing all of our Whelen Strobe Pages over the next few days to make it easier for the customer. Please look for these changes soon.

Q: does the part W1285-2 come with the wire pigtail that is pictured?

No, the W1285-2 is the base only, no wire pigtail.

Q: Question regarding part # 11-03215 (A626): Does the screw pictured in the diagram come with the part 11-03215? If not, please give me a P/N for this screw.

The screw does not come with the part. You will need P/N# MS24693C26.

Q: Whats the difference between the Whelen A610 and the A610-M Flash tube assembly?

The only difference is the connector. The A610 has the standard connector, the A610-M has a Molex connector.

Q: How long is the wiring length of the A610M flash tube assembly with the molex connector attached? Part number 11-03734

The wire lead length is approximately 7-5/8" from the assembly to the end of the molex connector.

Q: I have the combination wing tip pos lite and strobe. My strobe tube is milky..and needs tobe replaced. Your diagram picture shows it to be part A610. But no such item is listed. What is the part # for the A610?

The A610 assembly is our Part # 11-03213. If you keyword search 11-03213, you will locate the web page to order the assembly.

Q: Is the Flash tube included in A650 Wingtip Strobe Head Assembly part # 11-03215? If not what parts are included?

Everything in the photo is included.

Q: Does the A610M include the strobe tube as well as the molex connector?

Yes the "M" means that the molex connector is included.

Q: What is the difference between the two lamps? I did not understand the difference in value and what changes between them.

Just the connectors at the end of the wire leads. A610 has the standard rectangle connector as seen in the first photo, and the A610m has the molex connector shown in the second photo.
