SCEET-12 Ducting 3 5Ft

Excellent quality aircraft ducting and a big improvement over standard single-wall SCAT tubing. The double-wall construction feels much stronger and more durable, and the internal wire being enclosed between the layers makes the hose much easier to work with. You dont have to deal with the exposed wire constantly trying to unwind or work its way out like you can with cheaper ducting. The inside is also smoother, which helps provide cleaner airflow, and the material holds its shape extremely well while still being flexible enough for installation around the engine compartment. This is especially important in high-temperature areas where you want something that will hold up over time. The construction feels substantially more robust than basic ducting, and the temperature capability gives you additional confidence when using it around engine heat. It costs a little more than standard SCAT tubing, but after using it, I think the extra cost is completely justified. For an aircraft that you intend to keep and maintain properly, I would choose SCEET-style ducting every time. Excellent quality, durable construction, and well worth the upgrade.

Better than my original SCAT tubing. But it a little bit less flexible so order a bit long to allow for that. Worth it over the lesser quality tubing.

This is high quality ducting hose!! Its not cheap, but it appears to be worth the extra money. It is still flexible enough, but a little stiffer than SCAT. I recommend it.

This was a great fit and the correct product I needed

Superior in handling and in service life, due to both construction and material. In over twenty years I have never seen silicone rubber degrade in hot or cold air tubing. Also, the double layer prevents the support spring from rusting or uncoiling, and if the outer layer chafes through, the hose can continue in service as long as the cause of the chafing is cured! Lastly, most of us have STRUGGLED with the coil unwinding, making us curse the day single layer tubing was created!

I was asked to write a review of this duct, so I shall: The duct does indeed, duct air, as advertised! I am giving it 4 not 5 stars because after about 5 years of medium-duty use and some connects and disconnects for maintenance, it does need to be replaced. Maybe that is not great, but only just good?

received the items, they were as I wanted.

Good quality in appearance, should hold up fine. One small issue is that the wire will not pull out from between layers without damaging the material when preparing the ends for clamps.

I ordered 3 ft only received 26 inches. Called and let them know I was short. Received the 3 feet plus a bill for another 3ft. Customer service not so great.

The tubing itself is great but was cut about 1/2” shorter than what I ordered. When I called customer service, the gladly sent me another....it was cut short too. My advice is if you need the full length, order an extra foot for insurance.

Worked for what we are trying to do but this is NOT a SCEET equivalent- and we ordered SCEET. Take a look at the spec sheets... for most applications Vena is fine but if you need higher pressures and temperatures, it isnt. The problem here is that Spruce thinks it is an equivalent product - we werent even asked about the substitution.

this product is NOT quality.....buy the other SCEET-5. mine failed at altitude in the Lancair and caused major headaches. light rubbing rubs off to show spring material. JUNK.
