Bought 2 of these to test for Magneto Hold down nuts. Tried them at the counter and the threads fit but didnt look like what i have currently on my IO360. They also require a 9/16” wrench/socket. Madi, at the counter, was kind enough to help me search using her parts picture. The part # that i ended up with is ACS 08-03639. Threads fit AND the wrench size is 1/2” - same as currently installed.
I placed an order over the phone for 1/4 SS washers and 1/4-20 SS Hex Nuts. I think I have received plated steel nuts instead of SS. Pt#MS35649-2252. I placed the order over the phone because I had difficulty determining the correct Pt# for SS nuts in your catalog.
These are thinner and 1/16 larger wrench size and will not work to fix the magnetos on the o320 Lycoming. I will keep them but had to reorder the Superior parts.
