Overview

With curved blades made especially for round wires and cables, these cutting pliers cleanly shear a wide range of types and sizes, from tiny 40 gauge stranded to 16/3 service cord, even small diameter flexible tubing.

Two-Position Curved Blades
Unlike straight blades which tend to push round shapes out of their jaws as they close, these curved blades are specifically designed to encircle and hold round wire in place throughout the cut. Two differently sized jaw openings fit a wide range of wire sizes.

Completely Clean Cut
Sharpened to a keen edge, the curvature in the blades slices smoothly and effortlessly through each layer, producing a completely clean cut of insulation, shielding, hair-thin wire—even fabric jackets or paper lining.

BYPASS SHEAR: Comprised of two blades that move past each other. Very sharp and therefore relatively fragile edges make extremely clean cuts in soft metals and other materials, but can be permanently damaged by steel wire, nails, or staples.

Cutting Capabilities

Lean and Practical Grips
Single-layer vinyl grips offer a bit of comfortable cushion and provide a smooth, yet nonslip surface. They're slim, not thick and bulky, so they stay out of the way when space is tight and are always easy to handle, even with gloves on.

Non-absorbing and resistant to most common fuels, lubricants, and cleaners. Won't get soft or sticky over time. Easy to wipe clean.
