I’ve tried many of the available view restricting devices over the years but this one beats them all. I often wear a baseball cap when flying and the Horizon Halo (HH) is by far the most comfortable and convenient. My MO is to normally put my headset over my cap (as I guess most folks would). Installing the HH while the cap is on is not quite as easy as adding it to a cap and then donning the cap. My flying partner never wears a cap (maybe due to his unusually large head size?) but we flew approaches with me as the safety pilot and only after three approaches did I notice he had put the cap OVER his headset. Both his method and mine worked great and we both agreed the HH works great. If you struggle with a stable and comfortable view limiting devices that will fit anyone that can wear a cap, this is the one for you. It installs relatively easily, remains in place without any concern and is removed in a second without removing the cap. Wonderful.
Horizon Halo
Works as advertised, great if you have glasses.
Horizon Halo
A friend of mine recommended that I try the Horizon Halo. I’ve tried other similar products throughout the years and none of them come close to this. It is so lightweight and improves my visibility even under the most oppressive lighting conditions. It is the perfect solution and everything I needed. The construction and materials are super high quality. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.
