Expensive, but working like a charm!
Rpx Technologies Automated Engine Dehydrator Kit With Adapter A And Usa Plug
I ordered mine directly from the company after calling to ensure that they were in stock. I emailed them with 2 additional questions and received prompt and helpful answers. Set up was easy and quick. There was plenty of tubing to reach up to the oil filler of the Lycoming IO-360 in my DA40. The attachment seems air tight. I used a little tape to secure the tubing to the cowling and then turned it on. I didn’t remove the cowling. An indicator light is indicating normal function. and there is another indicator light if abnormalities occur. The dipstick is removed and I stored mine in a new plastic garbage bag. The unit itself is a real “black box.”. None of the internal mechanism is visible. So far so good.

We have updated the page. One adapter is included with the kit purchase.
The DryBot treats the air and filters the air prior to it being introduced into the engine. This way we can be sure clean air with the desired humidity level is achieved before it gets to the engine.
Per RPX: The DryBot will get years of use out of the desiccant but when it does need to be changed it will need to be shipped back to our facility in Oklahoma. At this time, DryBot will also update any firmware that might be available. We will also do preventative maintenance on the kit prior to shipping back to them.
