I installed these harnesses on both engines. They work well. If you are replacing custom cut harnesses, you may find (as I did) that some of the cables are shorter than the ones removed. This required some alternate routing.

I firstly purchased a no-name generic harness for my IO-360 C1E6 however, the leads were really just too short for my install and the ends were not marked. I reluctantly purchased this Kelly set (out of frustration), but now that the harnesses are installed, Im really wishing I would have started with the Kelly set. Quality looks to be very good, the ends are marked for correct install / hook-up, and theres plenty of lead length to work with. Apparently, the C1E6 has a different connection pattern than other 4 cylinder Lycomings. I havent had opportunity to start the engine yet, but I have high confidence in the Kelly harness, and Tempest plugs.

A better quality harness than the original Champion Slick harness. I also received excellent help from Kelley Aerospace on determining their part number for the harness kit as it was not listed in their application chart for my Lycoming model.

Got the right part on the 2nd try. Your product support people helped out. The incorrect part I received at first had the correct part number but was not right. I sent it back ($27.54 UPS) and received the correct part.. Since none of this was my fault, I think ACS should have paid for the return. Other than that, Im thankful the issue was resolved.

Product is as it should be. The problem is with aircraft spruce. In stock item, that was needed quickly wasn’t shipped for a week after purchase! Part was in stock in all locations, but was sent from the furthest possible warehouse. Doesn’t make any sense. You guys dropped the ball on this one, and isn’t the first time. Plane was down for to many days for nothing.

Made for a specific engine, this harness fits perfectly and works well. Each wire is labeled for the plug it should be connected to and which magneto it should be installed on. It is foolproof. Your mechanic will have a quick installation and the product works fine. Make sure that you have the correct part number for your engine before ordering.

Seems like a good quality harness. Engine ran great after install. Came with all new clamps too. However, expect to bundle a lot of wire. The leads are almost twice as long as they need to be for my O-320.

Great set, my only complaint is the number 1 bottom wire could be an inch or two longer. That one is tight with my routing configuration, which is a normal configuration.

Good Quality from Kelly as usual, but the APPLICATION Chart is NOT Correct....for the TCM IO-550N the only listed part number is NOT CORRECT for the Normally Aspirated IO-550N as installed in a Cirrus SR22. The magneto mounting plate is the wrong size. Apparently this is a well know issue with the Magneto Repair Shops across the country and has been this way on the application charts for many years...

The harness works fine, BUT The metal components of the harness are just so subpar that trying to finger tight the harness on spark plug seems just impossible. Threading it onto the plugs feels coarse and rough due to the cheap metal components used. Airboss or other harness have much better quality.

One of the crimped ferrules had fallen off. QA needs reviewing.
