Simple to use and accurate. We have the Monarch fuel caps, it gets stuck on the flapper, however, we take the case that the fuel stik comes in, slide it over the tube, and out it comes.

This works great and I love the tube that comes with it so there is no fuel in the plane.

The Fuel Stik is an easy way to check fuel levels even when wearing gloves. Its fast, accurate, and easy to read, and not likely to be dropped into the fuel tank.

We have a 1975 Cessna T210L. This definitely works for what it is designed for. You put the stick in. It tells you how much fuel there is. Very simple. Very helpful if one of your tank gauges doesnt work.

With a Cardinal 177B, it works perfect. There are no other fuel tubes (sticks) I could find calibrated for a 177. I did see a comment that it may have an issue if you have Monarch fuel caps. I dont and it works great on my plane. N30820!

Excellent tank reader for my 177. Worked great for a couple of years untill it caught the sun just right in the back baggage area and turn into a shriveled husk of its former self. 🤔 DONT LET IT NEAR ANY AREA OF PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO SUNLIGHT OR HEAT SOURCE. I havent had time to actually empty the tanks all the way to be sure this is 100% accurate but it seems to work really well based off of my GPH calculations.

I love this float style fuel stick. I compared the gallon measurement to my old home made wooden paint stir fuel stick and the measurements were dead on. They also have a pounds of fuel measurement on the back side of the scale, not really necessary but I suppose convenient if your math skills are iffy. Its well worth the money if you like a fairly accurate measurement for calculating your weight and balance. My only negative (and the reason for a 4 star vs 5 star) would be its slightly delicate if you drop it. The bottom plug of my float fell out when I dropped it on the hangar floor and since its self contained you can not fix it and it became useless. My solution was I bought two so I have a replacement.

great and prompt....little disappointed dipstick was in US gals and lbs. we made US gals to litres to kilograms conversion chart and attached it to the dipsticks container.

The Fuelstik itself works well but the packaging is flimsy and didnt protect it during shipping. It arrived dented in several places. I dont know if the dents affect the reading accuracy or not.

I thoroughly enjoyed using this fuel stick, but as others stated, it did get brittle and break in just under a year. It was always stored in my house when not in use. If I were to guess, the 100LL does something to the plastic over time to make it brittle.

Recently purchased the FuelStik tank quantity dip stick thru Aircraft Spruce (p/n 05-12344). Just wanted to drop some feedback concerning it. We operate 172 aircraft with MOGAS STC. The clear plastic discolored (cloudy) and the lower portion where the metal ring is, separated luckily one little shard of the plastic kept it attached and it didnt fall into the fuel tank. Overall a good gauge...reads well, my instructors and students liked the ease of use and easy to read just didnt seem to hold up to the MOGAS. D. It has potential, but will have to be modified. The metal cuff on the dip into tank end gets trapped by the Monarch Fuel Caps spring loaded flapper just inside the fuel tank inlet. I could not remove the fuel stik and thought it was stuck for good. It will need a bead of non desolvable material applied above the cuff, so that it will be able to slide clear of the internal Monarch Cap flapper edge.

Works well but flimsy and ended up breaking. Arrived damaged due to flimsy case but decided to use it anyway. Worked for a few months but then one day the plastic topper popped off and fell into the fuel tank which, thankfully was fished out pretty easily. Haven’t owned it a full year and am already looking for an alternative. Needs to be made more durable

Cheap construction. Its bulky which means its inconvenient to store in the airplane. Having to keep returning it to its container is a pain and the container will fail sooner than later. Id return it, but it isnt worth the cost of sending it back. This thing is a useless gimmick in practical terms. Do not buy it.

I have used the fuel stick for 3 fill ups. It has been consistently off by 3-5 gallons depending on what level of fuel I have in the tank. The collar on the bottom of the fuel stick catches on the flap inside the fill nozzle. This makes it very difficult to remove the stick after checking fuel. Overall I am better off calculating my full burn to come up with a required purchase quantity at time to fill the tanks. I would not trust this to gauge fuel needed for taking reduced fuel on a high/hot/heavy day.
