OEM part is good. I have some on engines lasting more than 18.
DO NOT BUY!!!! We replaced both ends of the #6 cylinders exhaust packing using these seals. However upon assembly noted they appeared to be loose fitting but as they are TCM parts assumed that they would expand under spring pressure to take up the gaps…BOY WE WERE WRONG! Rand the motor and didn’t note any leakage after the brief run. However on the subsequent flight oil was blowing out of both ends around the packing clearly they did not expand under spring pressure to create an effective seal. We are switching to Real Gasket replacements (FAA/PMA) and from other reviews this appears to be the better way to go to stop leaks in this area. The contact areas were all in perfect condition, no corrosion or distortion that would prevent an effective seal.
