An affordable, long life, super-bright LED replacement for high-current demand incandescent bulbs for Whelen/Grimes Rotating Beacons and position lights.

This glass dome LED is an exact replacement for BAY15s-base incandescent bulbs. Super bright 3W design. Mirror-gloss reflector concentrates and directs lighting.

Very low power consumption. Cool white LEDs are super-bright (300 lumens). Mirror-reflector mimics OE bulb function and ensures a bright rotating-light effect. Exact fit replacement in most older rotating beacons

Note: Not suitable for flash-tube type strobes.

This was a great upgrade! It fit perfect unlike some other reviews and when used with the stock colored glass lens it was easily twice as bright as the factory light. If used with the clear glass cover lens I would say it is 3 times brighter than stock!

Q: Will Part# 13-22036 replace GE1939X 28V?

It will not, the posts on 13-22036 are offset and they are level on GE1939X.

Q: Does it flash on and off on its own, or does it need to be wired through a flasher?

No. This bulb does not have an internal flasher.

Q: Is the mirro-gloss reflector material inside the glass bulb or coated on the outside? Can the reflector material be easily removed from the bulb without damaging the bulb glass to make it 360 deg illumination?

This is coated on the outside and it could probably be removed. Removal would be at your own risk and could damage the bulb.

Q: Is this a replacement for NLI-7512-12?

Yes this is the led replacement for a 7512 style bulb.

Q: What is the overall height of this bulb?

1.75 overall.

Q: does this replace a whelen w1290-14? and does it come with a clear lens?

Yes, this can replace the W1290-14. No this will not come with a clear lens.
