Tekton Ball End Hex L-Key Set with Holder, 13-Piece (0.050-3/8 in.)
High Leverage We designed the keys to be longer to increase leverage where it matters. ![]() Tight Fit with Fasteners We precisely manufacture our hex key geometry on the large end of the applicable range, resulting in less slop in fasteners. ![]() Two Measures of Tolerance Control We measure our hex key tolerances in two ways, from point-to-point and side-to-side, to ensure the highest standards of dimensional accuracy and consistency 20º Ball Angle Increases Access Our keys implement a steep ball end angle that increases your ability to access fasteners while still maintaining sufficient strength. ![]() Refined Edges Tekton keys have slightly chamfered edges (except sizes that are too small to be chamfered: 1.3 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 0.050 in., 1/16 in., and 5/64 in.) and a smooth top face to optimize engagement with fasteners. ![]() Materials and FinishesMaximum Torque Strength We make our L-keys with 8660 nickel chromium molybdenum steel that's heat-treated to 54-58 HRC to produce tools that are hard, but not brittle. As a result, the maximum torque of the L-keys consistently exceeds the ASME standards for minimum torsion load and the ISO standards for minimum proof torque. ![]() Corrosion-Resistant Finish We coat all of our keys with a durable manganese phosphate finish that’s resistant to corrosion. ![]() Clear Markings With the exception of the smallest sizes, Tekton L-key sizes are marked in two ways—both with a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking. ![]() Orginization FeaturesQuick Access We designed the holder to organize the L-keys facing forward so you can easily access each tool without having to move others out of the way. ![]() Low-Profile Organization You can also face the L-keys to the side for a flat, low-profile organization solution. ![]() Self-Aligning Key Slots The slots are uniquely shaped to guide the head of each L-key into alignment with the others. Durable Material The holder provides a firm, flexible grip and resists cracking or breaking. ![]() |
