The unique self-contained design of PlaneAC allows for quick and easy installation saving you time and money! As a portable device, no STC’s are required to install PlaneAC. Onboard CBs and ‘plug and play’ remote harness make installation simple. Place the unit, connect power and ground with the included SB50 plugs and plug in the remote control, vent the waste heat, and run the drain. That’s it! Less down time, more flight time! Initial install generally takes an hour or two. After that, PlaneAC can be removed and reinstalled in minutes!

While the primary source of power is the aircrafts electrical system (Alternator), PlaneAC can also be powered by an independent portable battery source. This allows you to pre-cool your aircraft without energizing the aircraft’s electrical system! The genius of our design allows PlaneAC to be powered by either the alternator or portable battery, or both! At highest output 12v PlaneAC units draw 50amps (24v – 46amps) continuous. PlaneAC does NOT require the installation of a 100amp alternator. If a small alternator is used, owners can connect a portable battery (50ah or more). By utilizing both power options users can manage electrical load by moving or sharing load by selecting the desired input. This gives the user flexibility to install PlaneAC without having to invest in costly alternator upgrades. Our panel mount remote control brings input selection and output speed control conveniently within the pilot’s reach.

The compact portable size of PlaneAC makes installation and removal simple. At just 50lbs the unit can be moved with ease. Specifically designed to fit through almost any baggage door. Unlike built-in systems where any changes to weight and balance and CG are permanent, PlaneAC offers flexibility by being able to be removed when not in use.
