Nice fit and finish, accurate prior to installation, as advertised.
Worthless. Installed and spent some time trying to calibrate with limited success. However the real problem is that today all the internal liquid started draining out over my wifes leg, filling the cockpit with toxic fumes. After a quick RTB (total flight time 35 mins) , and after inspection, the compass front face that is supposedly secured to prevent leakage looked like it had separated slightly and allowed drainage. This is a new instrument installed about six months ago, and until today had no problems. It was a straight compass removal and replacement installation so it was never subjected to any forcing or damage. This instrument is a hazard if the quality of manufacture is that poor. To top it off, while removing the dripping compass unit and gently pulling and working it out of the panel...the glass cracked. Whole thing in the garbage. Stay away!

Yes, a deviation card is included with the compass but it does not include any hardware for mounting.
It is recommended that you mount it away from anything that could cause a magnetic interference.
PER THE MANUFACTURER - there are 2 screws under white compass card.
Please see part # 10-04944 for the required fluid.
The holes for the hardware are at approximately 1.77 inches apart from center to center. For the best installation we suggest buying the unit and measuring everything at time of installation to insure it will be a correct fit.
You can use part # 10-04944 as a seal kit on these compasses.
