Finger strainers are for fuel tank outlets. Standard size features a brass fitting with 3/8" male pipe thread which fits AN867-3 welding flange, and 1/4" female pipe thread for valve or fuel line fitting. Screen is 16 mesh brass.
Large finger strainer has a 3/8"-NPT x 1/2"-M-NPT brass bushing with a T304 stainless steel screen. Uses welding flange AN867-4. |

Cured my fuel tank problems on farm tractor. Cut the original plastic fitting off the tank, drilled hole slightly under 3/8, used the strainer to cut new threads in plastic. Cured my fuel flow problems 100%

The standard finger strainer is approximately 2-11/16" long. The large finger strainer is approximately 3" long.
The thread size of the strainer is a 3/8" NPT Female and a 1/2" NPT male threads.
Standard Finger Strainer: .48" screen OD Large Finger Strainer: .60" screen OD
Yes they are both 16 mesh.
The screen is 2". The thread is 3/8 npt and it is .421" long. You would use a 3/4 wrench.
