Overview

Mineral deposits from regular tap water can collect on the Rotary Valve Shaft causing the seals to leak. Avoid this costly repair with this ready to use coolant specially designed to meet factory specifications for Rotax liquid cooled engines. “Coolanol” is a pre-blended formulation of 50% premium antifreeze and 50% demineralized water. No need for mixing or diluting. Designed for use with aluminum block engines, Coolanol has a freezing point of -34F to a boiling point of +265F when used with a 15 psi radiator cap. Coolanol contains proven anti-foaming agents and anti-corrosion additives. Coolanol meets the tough new ASTM D-4340 aluminum engine hot surface test specifications which means reduced possibilities for water pump cavitation and overheating.

While it is basic, this is a perfect size for a refill container to keep my cockpit backup bottle topped up. No mess, no mixing.

Lets face it, buying a gallon of coolant, finding somewhere to dump half of it and mixing it with water is a hassle! Unless you are a mechanic and need to change all your fluid chances are youll only need to top off an overflow reservoir between annuals, anything more and you need service! These handy little 1/2 gallon jugs are premixed, easy to store and easy to use when you need a few ounces. Convenience wins in my book!
