I am looking for a back up battery for my ICOM A-6. Is this compatible with my radio?
Yes, this is a AA battery pack for the Icom A6 radio.
Does the battery pack come with a belt clip like the pack that comes with the radio has? Is the battery pack the same size as the battery that comes with the radio?
This AA battery case is the same size as the one included with the radio, but it does not have a belt clip.
Can this be used while plugged in to ships power (CP-20 Cigarette Lighter Cable)?
Per the manufacturer, they do not recommend using the radios while plugged into a charger as it could damage the transceiver.
