Tekton Star L-Key Set with Holder, 13-Piece (T6-T50)
High Leverage We designed the keys to be longer to increase leverage where it matters. ![]() Precise Tip Geometry The star-shaped ends have 6-lobes that are machined to precise tolerances for an exact, high-torque fit with Torx® fasteners that resists camming out. The tips are slightly chamfered to help the keys slide easily into fasteners and reduce wear. ![]() Materials and FinishesMaximum Torque Strength We make our L-keys with 8660 nickel chromium molybdenum steel that's heat-treated to 54-58 HRC to produce tools that are hard, but not brittle. As a result, the maximum torque of the L-keys consistently exceeds the ASME standards for minimum torsion load and the ISO standards for minimum proof torque. ![]() Corrosion-Resistant Finish We coat all of our keys with a durable manganese phosphate finish that’s resistant to corrosion. ![]() Clear Markings With the exception of the smallest sizes, Tekton L-key sizes are marked in two ways—both with a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking. ![]() Orginization FeaturesQuick Access We designed the holder to organize the L-keys facing forward so you can easily access each tool without having to move others out of the way. ![]() Low-Profile Organization You can also face the L-keys to the side for a flat, low-profile organization solution. ![]() Self-Aligning Key Slots The slots are uniquely shaped to guide the head of each L-key into alignment with the others. Durable Material The holder provides a firm, flexible grip and resists cracking or breaking. ![]() |
