This is best designed to be used when an airplane is sitting outside for an extended period of time and left on the tanks. It is not designed to be used for a short stay and then remove to add fuel and used again later. They have an an adhesive that sticks to the wing and tank filler cap and removes paint when removed. It is not designed for multiple uses!

Fuel Cap Covers Set Of 2
These Fuel Cap Covers are large, about 12 inches in diameter. They work well, and have like a foam suction cup on the underside of the red outer material.
I have these for my beechcraft c23 and I love them!
Doesn’t really work for a Cessna 150 with the fuel caps slightly raised.
Fuel Cap Covers Set Of 2
The basic idea of these is fantastic - they provide a super water waterproof cover over the fuel caps. The problem with them is that the tacky base comes apart too easily, and you end up with the tacky base stuck to the wing and then the bottom of them is no longer tacky. When they are new - you could put them on a wing and they will survive any weather thrown at them, but after a couple of uses they end up being attached by smaller and smaller amounts of surface. Im on my second set - they are effectively consumables at this stage - I wont be buying another set, and Im seeking an alternative cover solution.
I like the idea. I have a Piper Apache that got water in the tanks if outside when it would rain. They are known for that problem. I just bought a roll of the blue painters tape and taped over the fuel cover caps. Tape would remove easily on preflight, throw it away, go fly, after landing tie it down and tape over the fuel caps again..... Completely cover the whole fuel door. Now its in a hanger. No issue.
