When both hands are busy in the cockpit, a flashlight usually ends up in your mouth. The Flight Gear Bite Light is designed for exactly that, with a silicone bite ring on the tail so you can hold it comfortably in your teeth without munching on metal. It is built around what pilots need from a flashlight: a bright white beam for preflight and a soft red light that preserves night vision, each on its own switch so you never scroll through white to reach red. White output reaches 500+ lumens and the red light has two brightness levels. A rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery charges by USB-C, so there are no disposable batteries to carry. The body is aviation-grade aluminum, designed to withstand drops and tested to IP68 water resistance (2 meters for 1 hour). At about 4.75" long it fits in a pocket, yet feels substantial in the hand. A removable steel clip and wrist lanyard are included. Operation:
