Note: Facet fuel pumps are not FAA approved and are not intended for aircraft use. • Application: Refrigeration trucks, marine generator sets, diesel filtration systems, industrial applications, and other diesel lift applications. These pumps are rated for diesel fuel, gasoline, blended alcohol fuels, and fuel additives. • Solid State Reliability: Proven on many original equipment applications No electrical contacts. No bearings or diaphragms to wear out or fatigue. Endurance life almost doubles that of our nearest competitor. • Easy to Install-Easy to Service: Two bolt mounting makes installations easy. Nothing to adjust. The pump is self-priming to 120 inches (3.0 m). Vertical mounting is preferred to assure maintenance of rated pressures. You cant go wrong with a Facet pump. Pump works great for my diesel truck application. Aircraft Spruce provides great service and fast shipping.
Worked exceptionally well in my application (an inboard boat). I wanted a pump that could pull through a fuel filter and water separator, as opposed to pushing through. It replaced a Carter P4594 that was noisy and unreliable.

The pump was easy to install, and plumbed in and primed up easily. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is this: the pump came with a quick-connect type connector to plug into a mating connector-good idea. However, it did not include the mating connector. So, we were forced to cut off the pretty connector, and use crimp-on splices in its place. For the price, it should have included both male and female ends of the quick connect, or, maybe Pilot shop should offer the other end, for a small fee. But, just the two wires would have worked for us.

Per the supplier: The filter is cleanable but we recommend you replace the O-Ring each time if you choose to clean the filter.
