Reviews

This Type K temp probe is a suitable replacement for G3X and AXIS installations where the normal oil temperature probe is too long and hits an internal obstruction. This happened on an AXIS install in a Mattituck TMX IO 360 engine with an angled oil filter adapter. The G3X and AXIS instructions say an oil temp probe must end with R but that is not correct. R means it is a platinum resistance probe, but a Type K probe is also a configuration option. This UMA probe is about an inch shorter than the R type probe and works perfectly where the longer probe cannot be used.
