PKG 6061 Mirror - Tuto (Universal Suction Cup)

Now back in stock, our popular 6061 billet-machined mirrors, arms and a suction cup mount actually sticks well to the compound curves of tip-up or tip-over canopies! Positioned correctly, the mirror obscures virtually the entire mount behind it, the perfect size for rear vision without obstructing too much of the pilot's forward field of view. Our 3D resin printed clip on mirror is also shown to illustrate the size. Mirrors are the perfect way to keep an eye on tandem passengers, aircraft taxiing behind you, clearing behind for run up, checking smoke is on/off/empty, confirming the trim tabs are neutral (we had this exact trim LED position indication problem ourselves, saved by the mirror instead of having to unstrap to check) and seeing your formation buddies. They've become an indispensable accessory on our aircraft! We tried every name brand suction cup we could get our hands on - Garmin, PanaVise etc and none worked on RV canopies. In the end it was one of the simplest suction cups that proved reliable.

Note: ALL suction cups have their limitations, especially on compound curves, thus they need to be kept clean and reseated reasonably often to account for temperature variations and slow vacuum leaks to avoid loose items in the cockpit.
