This is a very nice bearing. I used it as a flap bearing on a Mooney M20F. WEar is caused, I think, because the little sticking-out part of the ball gets squeezed by washers, so the ball doesnt rotate. The same section of bearing repeatedly takes the exact same 30 degree wear area. Nice bearing though.
