Overview

Protecting aircraft and sensitive equipment requires fast, effective, and residue-free fire suppression. The HT Series Model 549 is a lightweight, 5B:C clean agent fire extinguisher for aviation ground operations.

Features

  • Clean agent, halon-free – safe for avionics, electronics, and composite materials
  • Effective on Class B & C fires – flammable liquids and electrical equipment
  • Portable and lightweight – ideal for mounting on GSE, line carts, or keeping within easy reach on the ramp. Note: Vehicle mounting requires the purchase of vehicle bracket 898 (not included).
  • Discharge hose eases access to hard-to-reach fires
  • 12-year non-rechargeable service life – ready when you need it
  • Compliant – UL, ISO, EN, EASA, and FAA-approved halon extinguishing agent replacement
  • Note: Does not have FAA approvals for installation on aircraft.
