Really nice upgrade from my D2 Delta watch. Smaller. Like the touchscreen. Seems more intuitive although it may be that my Delta watch trained me. My only problem has been seeing the time at night. Im sure there is a solution as this watch has lots of capabilities. More health monitoring features like heart rate variability.

The GarminD2 Mach 1 is an impressive piece of equipment. It is however wholly too complicated. The directions read more like a wiring diagram and are no helpful. I am a pilot and understand and operate all of Garmins latest avionics, but I actually had to call customer support to use this watch. Multiple steps to reach any option. It is pretty and has nice options but, WOW, its going to take some time to get a handle on it. With that being said, I believe it is the best option on the market for the performance. I recommend if you do not mind a few weeks of training.
