I own a 2005 Piper Malibu Mirage and this GPU is the bomb (in the most complimentary sense)! Its power is perfect to operate every electrical component I throw at it, without a hiccup. Its construction is rock solid and the caddy arrangement is perfect for transporting and storing both sets of cables. I could not have wished for a better GPU. Its exceeded my every expectation. Thanks to Audio Authority Corp and the White Lightning team for an unparalleled product!

Purchased to run Kelly Aerospace air conditioning in new Cessna 182T on ground. Works great! Kelly Aerospace uses same for demos so I figured stick to what they use.

28-Volt 70Amp Ground Power Unit (GPU)
High quality construction, very pleased with its use for ground testing and exercising of new avionics system, very well regulated output. The digital volt + ampere meter can be used quickly to make a load (amp. draw) shedding chart for all of the electrical loads which can be switched off in an emergency.

So far so good. I have used it a few times and the power is stable as advertised. The screws that hold the rubber feet on the bottom of the unit were all bent and one was even broken off. I managed to fix it myself and replaced all the screws. Otherwise the product is great.

When it says 70 amps - thats exactly what it means. There is no tolerance or time delay - it just switches off at 71 amps.
