The RG-206 is a Concorde Platinum Series Aircraft Battery. The Platinum Series is comprised of premium hand made AGM Aircraft Batteries with excess power for many applications.
Recombinant Gas - The RGŪ Series are low resistance, valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries.
RG-206 is housed in an aluminum container with MS3509 terminal receptacle and cover with top hold down bar. The battery cover is attached to the container with high retention rivets. Vent tubes are integrated into the cover.
After trying several batteries over 20 years, the Concorde has always outperformed the others. It is very expensive though. When you start getting into an annual cost for a battery of $500, you know youve hit the big time. If you can get another year out of it by using a battery maintainer, youve paid for the maintainer. The delivery box had not a mark on it, probably because of the big yellow High Claims Item sticker on it. So, good job to Aircraft Spruce and UPS for the white glove handling. I just wish these batteries were cheaper. I see that Gill has just jumped into the AGM battery market to offer Concorde some competition.
