Forgetting to remove a faded, dull and worn out pitot cover, or having the cover blow off, allowing insects to contaminate your fuel vents, can jeopardize the safety of you and your passengers. The Plane Sights extremely conspicuous and very durable Light Sport/Homebuilt Pitot Plug Kit provides a perfect fit for many homebuilt pitot tubes, light sport pitot tubes, and aircraft fuel vents. The kit includes several vented plugs so it even works with double-tube systems and is guaranteed not to pressurize your pitot static system. The blazing yellow color of the included foot-long, ANSI-compliant and weather-resistant reflective remove-before-flight streamer stands out equally well in daylight or darkness under all weather conditions, so it can’t be missed. The kit comes complete with three different-sized pitot tube plugs, our unique streamer, and two rust-resistant coated triangle rings. The kit can also be used to prevent insects from plugging your fuel vent, which is known to cause loss of power with Cessna, light sport and home-built aircraft. WARNING: CHECK WITH YOUR AME AND CONSULT YOUR OWNER’S MANUAL BEFORE USING A FUEL VENT PLUG.

Even though my Cessna 170s pitot tube has a flap on it, water would still get into the pitot tube when parked outside in the rain. I tried this cover and happy to report it works fantastic. The cover appears to be well-made/durable. It slides over the pitot tube and has small holes in it so you wont pressurize the pitot system by putting the cover on.
Great. Second set for second plane. I needed glue in a filler strip for the Champ gas vent.

Works perfect with the three sizes of covers
Perfect for my purpose. Simple but effective.
I was looking for a pitot cover for the pitot tube in the propeller hub of my RV12. This was perfect. Even has 3 different sizes for various size tubes. Worked perfect and easily installed.
Smallest tube worked fine on my Cessna 140
