This light weight ulralight aircraft seat weighs under 6 pounds and in constructed from aircraft grade aluminum and hardware. The sling back seat is made from a durable Cordura Nylon and molds to the shape of you body making it extremely comfortable.
There is an optional seat cushion that can be attached to seat bottom for additional support. (See Part Number 14516) The base and the frame is made of 6061T6 Aluminum. There is a storage pouch sewn in the back of the seat as well as storage area beneath the seat and the pan. The suspended seat makes it very comfortable as the sling molds to the shape of your lower lumbar area making it extremely comfortable. This product is made by Free Bird Innovations. We used to purchase fiberglass seats for our planes that were too narrow and would cause discomfort to our hips so we made this seat for comfort and at the same time eliminated the extra weight of those heavy fiberglass seats. This seat appears to be sized for use under 80 lbs. Not suitable for adults. Seat rails uncomfortable against back of legs even with 3” cushion.

No, this is not a certified seat. It is used in ultralight and experimental aircraft.
Per the supplier: The seat base is angled at 13 degrees. The back brace goes up at that same angle from the bottom of the seat up the mid back 12 inches then bends back an additional 15 degrees for another 14 inches. So the entire seat back is about 26 inches high but has two angles.
