Overview

Marsh Brothers Aviation’s Flap Roller upgrade kit is a proactive solution that eliminates flap roller bearing seizure and minimizes wear of the aircraft flap tracks. By eliminating the roller greasing requirement via use of a self-lubricating bearing system, the rollers are maintenance-free by design thereby increasing the mean time between maintenance while reducing overall costs associated with replacement and repair of flap system components.

Features

  • Reduces unscheduled maintenance downtime and expense.
  • Eliminate the risks associated with bearing seizure and costs associated with flap track replacement.
  • No hot/cold grease implications on bearing operation. Bearing is self-lubricating, requires no grease.
  • Cartridge-type bearing design is highly resistant to incursion by dust/debris.
  • Easy to install: Flange washers come preinstalled on the rollers, providing a drop-in solution that reduces the part count and eliminates the need to stack parts during assembly.

Specifications

  • Approved for installation in Canadian Registered aircraft by Transport Canada Supplemental Type Certificate No. SA21-5 and US Registered aircraft by FAA Supplemental Type Certificate SA11855IB, and Brazilian Registered aircraft by ANAC Supplemental Type Certificate 2024S08-04.
