Aircraft Spruce & Specialty Company turns 45 years old in 2010, and we’ve come a long way since Flo and Bob Irwin started shipping orders for aircraft grade spruce from the basement of our family home in Fullerton.

Back in 1965, Aircraft Spruce had one full time employee (Flo) and one product; aircraft spruce. Over the years, every type of aircraft part and pilot product has been added to our inventory, and the company catalog has grown to over 800 pages and over 60,000 products. The one employee has increased to over 150 today. From the day Flo opened the doors in 1965, to 1980 when we took the helm, all the way to 2010, the goal of our company is to offer the best price on the products we sell and the best service in the industry.
